Hi @BraianHerrera,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're unable to use the two-finger scroll feature on your HP Pavilion Laptop 15 touchpad, here are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially fix the issue.
Check Touchpad Settings:
- Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad. Ensure that the touchpad is enabled, and check if two-finger scrolling is enabled under the "Scroll and zoom" section. You may need to toggle the settings to see if it resolves the issue.
Update Drivers:
- Ensure your touchpad drivers are up to date. You can do this through Device Manager:
- Right-click on the Start menu and select Device Manager.
- Find Mice and other pointing devices, right-click on your touchpad device, and select Update driver. Choose Search automatically for updated driver software.
- Alternatively, visit the HP support site and download the latest touchpad driver for your model.
Adjust Touchpad Sensitivity:
- Sometimes, sensitivity settings can affect gestures. In the Touchpad settings, look for sensitivity adjustments and see if changing these improves the situation.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Ensure that your Windows operating system is fully updated. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.
Use Troubleshooter:
- Windows has built-in troubleshooters that might help. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters, and run the troubleshooter for hardware and devices.
Restart Your Laptop:
- Sometimes, simply restarting your laptop can resolve temporary glitches with the touchpad.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
