I cannot find my BitLocker key -HP Stream 8

I am getting the "BitLocker Recovery Key" error on my HP Stream 8 tablet.  I cannot find the Key anywhere.  It is not located in my microsoft account nor is it in the Registration Email I received when I first purchased my tablet.  Please help me get my tablet working again!

Sorry -- but you won't -- be able NOW to find the key.

BitLocker is installed by default on some HP laptops and the first thing you SHOULD have done is go into BitLocker Management and export the key to a USB stick and/or print it.

Since you did not do that, it is too late, now.
