Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I cannot find my original product key in my newly purchased laptop HP VICTUS. Its not printed at the back of my laptop, nowhere in the system. However, I found the backupproductkey but it is not working. What should I do?

If the notebook came with Windows from HP, the Windows product key is encrypted in the notebook's BIOS.

 

You won't ever need the product key to reinstall Windows.

 

You can view, save or print the Windows product key in your notebook's BIOS by installing the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store.

If the notebook came with FreeDOS from HP, the customer is responsible for providing their own Windows operating system and product key.
