HP Notebook - 15-af127na (ENERGY STAR)

I did a Windows update on my laptop & then it would not re-boot, It took me to the HP recovery page and I tried a factory reset but when it went to restart it would not go passed the HP recovery page and gives me no further options to select.  What can I do? The recovery discs are not available from HP (as my laptop is old), I did save my files onto 10 discs but I am unable to view them on my other laptop to retrieve what I need....help.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ...

 

To help you I just need to know the product number (p/n) xxxxxx#xxx of your notebook !

 

It looks something like this:

You will find this information on the back/rear of your notebook in small alphanumeric letters. Use a magnifying glass or the camera zoom feature on your smartphone to read it better.
