Hi @Nafiu,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error message "Boot Device Not Found, Please install an operating system on your hard disk, Hard Disk (3F0)" indicates that your computer is having trouble finding a valid boot device, usually the hard drive where the operating system is installed. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue.

Check the Boot Order:

  • Access the BIOS or UEFI settings during the startup process. This is typically done by pressing a specific key (e.g., F2, F10, Del) depending on your computer.
  • Once in the BIOS/UEFI, look for the boot order or boot priority settings.
  • Ensure that the hard drive where your operating system is installed is set as the first boot device.

Inspect the Hard Drive Connection:

  • If you're comfortable doing so, power off your computer and physically check the connections of your hard drive. Make sure it is properly connected to the motherboard and power supply.

Test the Hard Drive:

  • Your hard drive might be failing. If possible, connect the hard drive to another computer or use a bootable USB drive with diagnostic tools to check the health of the hard drive.

Reinstall or Repair the Operating System:

  • If the hard drive is in good condition, the operating system might be corrupted. You may need to reinstall or repair the operating system. You can use a Windows installation USB or DVD to perform these tasks.

Restore from Backup:

  • If you have a recent backup of your important data, and you're unable to repair the operating system, you may consider restoring your system from the backup.

Replace the Hard Drive:

  • If the hard drive is faulty, you might need to replace it with a new one. Make sure to reinstall the operating system on the new drive.

Remember to back up your important data before attempting any significant changes to your system.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
