I have a stream notebook 11-y010wm that I believe the os partition has been deleted. I found the software support page for this model and has the software tool but I cannot find the file for this particular model listed. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have been working on accessing the reset file and it tries but then an error comes up and it won't reset. Thank you for any help.

Hello.
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool should support your laptop. You can download it from Microsoft Store on another laptop and let it create a bootable USB drive which can be used to recover the OS. You will need at least 32GB drive for this operation:

If the HP Cloud Recovery Tool did not support your laptop model for some reason, you can restore Windows 10 by downloading the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool on another Windows PC and letting it create a bootable USB drive with which you can reinstall Windows 10 on your Stream laptop. You will need a 8GB or larger USB drive for this one.
I recommend the latter option in any case since it will be much faster to install and will occupy less drive space on your space constrained Stream laptop anyway.

Thank you very much for the reply. I am going to try the download one more time and see if I can find this one listed. I had some idea that this was maybe a more slimmed down version of 10 and I recall seeing where people had issues with activation after installing the download regular version of 10. I'll give it another try. I really can't believe they shipped these with only 32 GB of storage. Thanks again!
