The battery is internal meaning the laptop has to be opened to get to it and change it. It seems to be 2-3 years old which is about how long a battery lasts. Here's the manual, which shows how to do the replacement:

Without knowing any more, it appears your battery has gone bad and needs replaced. Can we have the full model or product number of the laptop?
