Ran system test Came up with Hard Drive Failed.

Hi,

The failure code indicates "Hard Disk 1 SMART Hard Drive Detects Imminent Failure"

You should back up all your important data if you can still boot into Windows. You should also replace the drive and reinstall the OS.

I would replace the Hard Drive with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD such as the Samsung 860 Evo or similar of your desired capacity. The SSD will give a great boost to the everyday performance of the PC.

On page 69 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the drive.

You can then use the media creation tool from Microsoft (before replacing drive or on different PC) to create a bootable USB drive with Windows 10 on it and install the OS
