I have a perfectly operating HP 2311x monitor and want to attach it to my Lenovo T60 laptop with a W11 OS. It is not working. The laptop incorporates an Intel iRISxe graphics in the vPRO i7 gen 12 processor. **bleep** guys? Why can't I use this perfectly good monitor? Get some new drivers out there! I would hate to see it in the landfill and I will never purchase HP again if this is the case.

Hi @gtmark1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're encountering some compatibility issues between your HP 2311x monitor and your Lenovo T60 laptop running Windows 11. Let's troubleshoot the problem step by step.
- Check connections: Ensure that the cables connecting your monitor to the laptop are securely plugged in at both ends. Sometimes loose connections can cause display issues.
- Monitor Input Source: Make sure that your HP 2311x monitor is set to the corect input source. You may need to toggle through the input options using the monitor's menu buttons to select the correct input source (e.g., VGA, HDMI, DVI).
- Update Drivers: Check if there are any driver updates available for your laptop's graphics card and the monitor. You can do this by visiting the Lenovo website for your laptop model and the HP website for your monitor model. Download and install any available driver updates.
- Compatibility: Confirm that your laptop's graphics card supports the resolution and refresh rate of your HP 2311x monitor. Sometimes, mismatched resolutions or refresh rates can cause display issues.
- Try Different Ports/Cables: If you're using adapters or converters to connect the monitor to your laptop, try using different ports or cables to rule out any issues with the connections.
- Test with Another Device: If possible, test the HP 2311x monitor with another device (e.g., another laptop or desktop computer) to see if it works properly. This will help determine if the issue lies with the monitor or the laptop.
It's important to note that sometimes compatibility issues can arise due to a variety of factors, including hardware limitations or software configurations. However, with proper troubleshooting steps, you can often resolve these issues and continue using your monitor without any problems.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
