Product: Elite Book

I usually have my laptop plugged into an HP docking station when I am working. When I got a message re battery low today I checked the plugs and assumed it was fine.

However, the laptop has now switched off and is not charging via the lead or via the docking station.

It is your work machine, contact your IT department first, normally they have someone to look after you.  HP staff/contractor actually came to my house to replace the screen of my Elitebook 840 G5 machine.
