Hi @123cool,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy x360 13 laptop is stuck on a spinning circle or in automatic repair mode after upgrading to Windows 11, there are several steps you can try to resolve the issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps to consider.

Wait for a While: Sometimes, Windows updates or repairs can take some time to complete. Leave your laptop on the spinning circle screen for a while (up to an hour) and see if it eventually progresses.

Force Restart: If waiting doesn't help, try forcefully restarting your laptop. Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the laptop turns off. Then turn it back on to see if it boots normally.

Safe Mode: Try booting your laptop into Safe Mode. This can help you diagnose if a third-party app or driver is causing the issue. To enter Safe Mode:

  • Turn off your laptop.
  • Turn it on and immediately start pressing the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
  • Select "Safe Mode" or "Safe Mode with Networking."

Startup Repair: Use the Windows Recovery Environment to run Startup Repair. To do this:

  • Turn off your laptop.
  • Turn it on and immediately start pressing the F8 key repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears.
  • Select "Repair Your Computer" > "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced Options" > "Startup Repair."

System Restore: If you have a restore point created before the issue occurred, you can use System Restore to revert your system back to that point.

  • Access the Advanced Boot Options menu as described above.
  • Select "System Restore" and follow the on-screen instructions.

Reset This PC: If other methods don't work, you might need to reset your PC. This will remove all your personal files and apps, so make sure you have backups.

  • Access the Advanced Boot Options menu.
  • Select "Reset This PC" > "Remove everything."

Reinstall Windows 11: If none of the above solutions work, you might need to reinstall Windows 11 from scratch. This will require a USB installation media with the Windows 11 setup files.

  • Access the Advanced Boot Options menu.
  • Select "Use a device" and boot from your USB installation media.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I cant also do the reintallation of windows 11 cause it does not when I clicked usb/srt boot it just show hp logo and circle then go to blue screen error. Is there any other ways I can do on this laptop? thanks
