Hi,

I have a hp dv5 and I upgraded the hdd with a ssd and the ram from 5 gb to 8 gb. After doing that I am trying to load windows 10 through a usb stick but the computer starts up to a blank screen.

Can you help me to load windows 10 in the dv5 laptop?

Hi,

My laptop was bought in 2011 or 2012. There are no instructions mentioned in the link for laptops manufactured in the year 2011 or 2012.

Please advise.

Hi,

I already tried those steps.

The issue is that when I boot using the usb the computer starts and shows a blank screen with the cursor blinking.

Please advise.

Note: I checked whether the usb was created ok with another computer.
