You will need to contact HP with proof of ownership to recieve a file to unlock the BIOS.

If your halt code is prefixed with the letter i, the online generators will not give you the correct unlock key.

 

Post back with the halt code ( System Disabled code ) you are currently getting.

You have a "consumer class" laptop. Only "business class" laptops such as Elitebook, Probook,etc can get an unlock code from HP. In your case you will very likely be told that it requires replacing the motherboard for $300-$400.

I would suggest that you post your halt code here as requested above by @DavidPK
