Hi!
I have an HP laptop model# 15-bs033cl. I typically sign in with a pin and the other day it asked for a pin reset which I did reset. I went to get on my computer a couple days later and had issues getting in but it finally let me. Today, it isn’t working. I’ve even tried different combinations of the numbers I used and nothing. I only have the one account, as an admin and the password it was set to isn’t working.
I’ve looked online and some things I saw was changing the ease of access button to the cmd.exe but it wouldn’t even open the command center I’m safe mode. By doing shift +restart I get to the choose option menu and hit troubleshoot, advanced options, command prompt, and then all it does is bring me back to the log in page w/o command prompt or it will load another page that says command prompt and then ask the account and password.
Ive even tried doing the factory reset and system restore and it still asks me for a password.
I can’t find anything else to help. I should add, I don’t have another accessible computer. Please help!
