HP Notebook - 15-db0031nr

I am not sure much about my laptop but I was gifted it to start college. The previous owner was my uncle and he made himself admin to this laptop he has no access to his account information or access to his number he used for his Microsoft account. I have no admin rights which is the biggest issue for me because I am limited to what I can do on my laptop. Anyone know how I can remove the admin account without having any access to it? Thank you to anyone who answers.

Hi:

If your uncle doesn't need any info from the notebook he gifted to you, I recommend that you use the HP cloud recovery tool to factory reset the notebook, so it is like having a brand new one with no user information and you can set it up the way you want.

Your notebook is supported by the HP Cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media on.

Since you have to use the cloud recovery tool on another PC, after you install the recovery tool software you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window which is:  4JB82UA#ABA
