Hi @RUSHIKESH9527

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

No worries — since it’s an HP laptop running Windows 7, there are still a few ways you can get back in even if you’ve forgotten the password.

Ways to Unlock Your Windows 7 HP Laptop

1. Try Safe Mode with Built-in Administrator

Windows 7 usually has a hidden Administrator account (without a password by default).

Restart your laptop.

Press F8 repeatedly before Windows logo appears.

Choose Safe Mode.

On the login screen, look for Administrator account.

If it’s there → log in (often no password).

Then go to Control Panel → User Accounts and reset your password.

2. Use a Password Reset Disk

If you created a password reset disk earlier (USB/CD), plug it in at the login screen and reset the password.

3. Use Another Admin Account (if available)

If the laptop has multiple user accounts, log in with another administrator account and reset your password from Control Panel → User Accounts.

4. System Restore (to before password was set)

Restart laptop → Press F8 → choose Repair Your Computer.

Select System Restore.

Pick a date before you set or changed the password.

5. Last Resort – Reset/Factory Restore

This will erase files if you don’t back them up.

Boot laptop → Press F11 (HP Recovery).

Follow on-screen steps to restore Windows 7 to factory state.

I can’t provide hacking/cracking tools or bypasses, but the above are official and safe recovery methods.

Question: Do you mainly want to recover your files (data) or just get Windows working again?

That will decide whether you should try unlocking or go straight to factory reset.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
