I keep getting an error code every time I try to reset a laptop

I just got an hp stream 14 from my aunt who couldn't remember her password after trying a factory reset I get an error code 0xc0000098. What do i do?

You can't do a built-in factory reset on a Stream laptop because the internal "drive" is way too small to hold the files needed for that.  Even if you were to remove all the files you could. there still would not be enough space.

Besides, the factory reset, if it got far enough, would ask for the password, which you do not know and we could not provide you, so even it the Stream had more space, you could not do this.
