I'm reinstalling Windows 10 on my HP laptop and accidently deleted my "Drive 0 Partition 2 "Primary"". It now says "Drive 0 Unallocated Space 697.3 GB Total Size and 697.3 GB Free and "Type" is empty". When I click on "New", it tells me "We couldn't create a new partition. [Error: 0xabe774a0]." How can I get it back? I'm cross posting this question in the Microsoft Support Community as well. I will update here if I get an answer from them first and vise versa.

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to follow the guidance at the link below up to and including step 5.
Your notebook's disk when you run the Diskpart command when you select the disk to be cleaned will be Disk 0, not 1
How to use the Diskpart Utility preparing to install Windows - Micro Center
Then exit out of the command prompt and when you are at the part of the W10 installation setup where you are at the disk with unallocated space, click Next and W10 will install.
There is no need to create a partition or format the drive if you just want one partition.
Windows does that automatically.

hank you Paul_Tikkanen,
I actually resolved it by creating a new 1 GB partition then extending it into the remaining un allocated space. Window 10 Setup is now reporting it as Drive 0 Partition 2 Total size 697.3, Free space 697.2 and Type Primary. YAY!!! However, now I get:
"Windows can't be installed on drive 0 partition 2. (Show details)".
When I click on it, I get:
"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."
Now what do I do?
Thank you
Diane

What I did was to click on New and create a 1 GB partition, then I extended that into the remaining unallocated space.
Windows Setup is now showing the following:
Name Total size Free space Type
Drive 0 Partition 1:System Reserved 350.0 MB 315.0 MB System
Drive 0 Partition 2 697.3 GB 697.2 GB Primary
Drive 0 Partition 3 1017.0 MB 469.0 MB OEM (Reserved)
But like I said, now I have another issue. Now I'm told:
"Windows can't be installed on drive 0 partition 2. (Show details)".
When I click on it, I get:
"Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, Windows can only be installed to GPT disks."

Hi:
As I posted before, all you need to do is to follow those 5 easy steps to clean the disk and install Windows.
You don't need to do anything else.
You do not need to create any partitions.
Here's another video that specifically addresses that problem.
Windows cannot be installed to this disk. the selected disk has an MBR partition table - YouTube

Hi Paul_Tikkanen,
Thank you for all the help. It turns out that the issue of not being able to install Windows on Drive 0 Partition 2 Primary was because in my Boot Manager I was selecting the wrong choice for booting from my USB Stick. Here is what my Boot Manager shows:
"Boot Manager"
Boot Option Menu
USB Hard Drive (UEFI) - PNY USB 3,2,1 FD
Boot From EFI File
Notebook Hard Drive - WDC WD7500BPVX-60JC3T0
USB Hard Drive - PNY USB 3.2.1 FD
Network Adapter (IPv4 Legacy)
(up arrow) and (down arrow) to change option. Enter to select an option.
Press F10 to Bios Setup Options, Esc to exit.
I was booting from the first choice:
"USB Hard Drive (UEFI) - PNY USB 3,2,1 FD"
when I should have been booting from the 4th choice:
USB Hard Drive - PNY USB 3.2.1 FD
Im actually in the process of installing Windows 10 on the laptop.
Again, thank you for all the help
Diane

You're very welcome, Diane.
But you could have installed Windows by cleaning the disk and converting it to GPT which is the preferred way to install W10 nowadays.
You will not be able to turn secure boot on when Windows is installed with an MBR partition table.
