HP 15 Notebook PC  - I'm suddenly having a problem downloading and/or viewing pdf files on the internet. When I try my browser window starts flashing and I can't go back, refresh, or even close the window and I have to close my browser with Task Manager. Can anyone please help?

@Dar14

MS recently pushed out their new Edge browser -- and when they did that, they changed to default apps to have Edge open PDFs and this can cause problems.

To change this back to Adobe reader, type "default" in the search area and select default apps. Scroll down to Choose default app by file type.  When that window opens, scroll down to .pdf.  If Microsoft Edge is shown on the right, click that and select Adobe Acrobat Reader.

If you don't have adobe acrobat reader, then you can download it from the Internet and install it.
