Hi
I need to get a recovery usb for
HP Pavilion x360 15-bk062sa (ENERGY STAR)
My recovery partition was wiped when I used the recovery assistant, and it failed. I now have no o/s at all.
I have searched on the product page, but cannot find the full recovery disk. Please would you be able to help?
Thanks

Hi, @Mort1c1a
You can always clean install W10 for free by using the Media Creation Tool at the link below.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
You will be given an option to make a bootable USB flash drive to install W10, or save an ISO file which you can later burn to a DVD using your DVD burning program's burn ISO file option.
The software will work with the W10 product key in the PC's BIOS.
After W10 has installed, go to the support page for your notebook to install the drivers and available software you need.
If you don't like the results, then you can order the recovery media.
HP does not sell recovery media directly to the public for that model. You would have to order from HP's e-Partner at the link below...

Hello @Mort1c1a,
Please find the below link for Recovery Media :
1> Scroll to the bottom>
2> Expand Order Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB (1)
NOTE : You need to know three things about HP Recovery Media:
1) It is NOT downloadable, you have to order the physical media
2) It is not free, you have to pay for it
3) It will erase the ENTIRE contents of your drive.
Hope this helps, for any further queries reply to the post and feel free to join us again !!

Thanks, but when I go to that page and scroll down it doesn"t say order recovery media. Do I need to wait for the options to come up, as I have put in the operating system after waiting a couple of minutes for the list?
Thanks @GBL84

Thanks so much for the help with this. There is nothing worse than a laptop that is only useful as a paperweight!
The steps I took were to create the USB W10 recovery from the recommended site. I then installed the HP support assistant that downloaded all recommended drivers. Now looking good.
If anyone else has the same issue, this is the route I would recommend to you. If however you do want to buy the recovery pack from HP this link should help.
