Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After trying to do a recover/restore on my envy laptop I ended up with a hard drive that shows 4kb space in the install screen but 1TB in the command line with over 500GB of files and around 500GB free. Of course the drives shown during windows install are not big enough for the windows installation. The hard drive is a Toshiba hybrid. How do I format or what driver do I need to work with the drive. I cannot figure out in the command line what to do so the windows install sees the real drive size 1TB.

Hi:

If you do not need to save any files on the hard drive, when you get to the part of the Windows installation that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.

Click Next, and W10 will install.

Thanks for the suggestion, but this has gone way beyond my experience and I had to send it to an expert. I really don't know how the drive ended up this way so I decided to cut my losses and hopefully I found someone that can fix it.

You're very welcome.

That'll work too!
