I need help! I was given a used laptop that I am trying to reset to its original state. I didn't realize that it has a bit locker key and won't let me change anything because I keep getting asked for an administrator password. I am computer savvy for certain things, but I am definitely not an expert, so I'll need instructions that aren't too complicated. I saw some posts where there were instructions on creating a bootable USB recovery drive that would reinstall everything that originally came with the PC. Can an expert instruct me on what I need to do please? The laptop is an HP 15-dy2132wm (33K47UA), running Windows 11 Version 23H2 (OS Build 22631.3958)

If your notebook came with Windows preloaded from factory, you can use HP Cloud Recovery Tool to create a bootable recovery usb drive which restores the storage drive to a factory state.
You need a 32 GB usb drive and can download Cloud Recovery Tool from the Microsoft Store. See the HP document below for more instructions.

If you run the Cloud Recovery tool on another computer, you'll be prompted to enter the full product number (prodID), which you can find on the bottom case of the laptop.
