Hello Team, 

I reinstalled OS due to some issues. I reinstalled the OS and installed windows 8.1 version. When I requested windows support to activate my OS they suggested me to contact HP for product key. And the OS installed on my notebook is windows 8.1 SL bing version. Where can I download that OS and where can I find the product Key?

Doing research, and none of the methods are mine, I have some, simple single lines of code that will list the same value for your Windows 10 Product Key…

W10 Using cmd.exe as an Administrator (copy and paste accordingly).
wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey >> c:\ProdKey.txt
Creates a text file called ProdKey.txt on your C:\ area.

Next is a PowerShell command, as Administrator...
(Get-WmiObject -query ‘select * from SoftwareLicensingService’).OA3xOriginalProductKey

but it will run perhaps using cmd.exe as an Administrator.

You will have to contact HP in your country and see if they sell recovery media for your PC.

W8.1 w/Bing single language is not available for download anywhere, and you have to install that version in order for the product key in your notebook's BIOS to work with it.
