HP usually only carries Recovery Media a few years.Third party site will be your only option:

Thank you for the info. My only problem now is that the laptop now says it has a 32 bit system in it and the boot disks say 64 bit system. All my research says it came with a 64 bit, AMD dual core processor. In system in control panel it says  32 bit system, same processor. Did someone down gade it? I only just got this laptop. Can I put a 64 bit restore disk on a 32 bit system? The laptop still works but it is very slow.

@Helpme555

That model is fairly old- it won't run fast on todays graphics heavy sites. I have an older laptop with AMD cpu running Win 7 that is very slow compared to my newer model.

No way to know what shipped on it because I can't find a Specs page for it at HP. It could have shipped with either- although HP mainly uses 64bit OS if the hardware supports it. Does the system info you are looking at specify x86 or x64 CPU?

Does it have a Recovery partition on it? Open My Computer and see if you have a C drive as well as D drive.
