Product: ENVY 17t-k000 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I want to restore my OS back to the original version.  Does HP sell the original Window's 8 CDs for my model?  I tried installing the generic MS Windows 8 and it will not update my PC.  I always get an update error.

Hi:

 

HP no longer sells recovery media for your notebook, however this vendor does.

 

Order the kit for the product number your notebook has.
