I need the drivers for old HP laptop - Hp envy ultrabook 4- 1002 tx

Hi,

I have recently formatted my laptop but now I am not able to get its drivers as it is very old. Due to missing or incorrect drivers it is unable to detect battery. Please help me. Where can I find the drivers for HP envy ultrabook 4- 1002 tx

It appears that HP has retired support for your notebook since it is more than 10 years old.

This reputable 3rd party driver website has the drivers you need for your notebook:

I am trying to fix the battery not detected error. Can you help me understand what drivers could be missing that could result in this error?

You're very welcome.

The only missing driver I can think of that may cause that error would be if you didn't install the Intel chipset installation utility.

The W8 driver should work on W8.1.

Thanks for prompt reply. I installed the HP ENVY 4-1002tx Intel Chipset Installation Utility and Driver v.9.3.0.1021 but still no luck.

Here's the list of all the installed programs. Hope this will help you identify missing program/drivers or let me know if you need any other details from me

Unfortunately, since I have never encountered that problem before, I wouldn't know how to fix it.

I suggest you google the problem and see if any of the suggestions on the internet help any.
