I have a HP Pavilion G60-125NR laptop that I inherited after my mom passed but I didn't get any software discs or anything else. I've turned it on and it asks for a start up password which I don't have. It's in great condition and I would love to use it but I don't know what to do to get it running. Does anyone have a solution that you can share with me? I would truly appreciate it.

I wish we could help you -- but we can't, since we have no way from here to verify ownership of any computer.
Therefore, according to the Community's Rules of Participation:
4d. No posts shall include instructions/directions intended to bypass or subvert security mechanisms such as lock screens, BitLockers, BIOS lock, passwords, fingerprint/biometry scanners, PINs nor any other safety measures.
Sorry -- we are unable to assist you with that.
However, if you take it to a PC repair place, they might be able to get you access to the PC because they have hands-on access to it themselves.
