My laptop is locked. I need a bitlocker recovery key to get it unlocked but I don't know what that is or how to get it. Please help?

Hi:

 

If you first set up your PC with a Microsoft account, it may have exported the Bitlocker recovery key to your Microsoft account.

 

It did for mine, and I need to retrieve it after a BIOS update ran, much to my surprise.

 

Here is a link for how you may be able to recover the Bitlocker recovery key.
