HP Notebook - 15t-da0000 CTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had to format my laptop (HP Notebook - 15t-da0000 CTO) and to reinstall Windows 10. Now I need to find my Windows product key. Can you help me? Thank you!

You're very welcome.

Install the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store.

Get ShowKeyPlus - Microsoft Store

It should show you the W10 OEM product key and the version of W10 the key is good for.

If the installed key is different from the OEM key, see if changing the installed key to the OEM key in the Settings menu>Update and Security>Activation, gets Windows to activate.

Hi:

If your notebook came with W10 from HP,  the product key is in the BIOS.

You don't need it to reinstall W10.

Use the cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

Thank you, Paul! The problem is that both the formatting and the installation of Windows 10 have already been done. Now a message keeps popping up all the time, saying that my license is going to expire soon and that I need to enter the key number.
