On my hp laptop I get the error code boot device not found and need to download an operating system on my hard disk dunno how tho

Hi:

 

Using another windows PC, you can reinstall W10 for free by making a bootable USB W10 installation flash drive.

 

Use the media creation tool from the link below to do that.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

After W10 installs, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.

 

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-13-x360-Convertible-PC-series/8499316/m...

 

Your other option would be to purchase W10 recovery media from HP for your notebook at the link below.
