I am trying to update my HP Envy laptop from Windows 8.1 64 bit, to Windows 10. After doing so, I want to update to Windows 11.Is this possible?

Hi:
You can do an in-place upgrade to W10 for free by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
After the USB installation media is created, don't boot from it.
Open the flash drive in Windows Explorer, double click in the setup application you see there to begin the upgrade process.
To upgrade from W10>W11 will require a W11 hardware check bypass because your notebook does not meet the W11 hardware requirements. The processor is not supported for W11, and it does not have a TPM 2.0 security device.
If you are still interested in upgrading to W11, after you get W10 installed and running, let me know and I will give you an easy way to do that.
Note that doing an in-place upgrade from W10>W11 does not have a 100% success rate, so you may have to clean install W11 if the in-place upgrade does not work.
