HP Chromebook, Model 14-ak031nr
Chrome OS

I’ve had my chromebook (model 14-ak031nr) for two years, and it’s been fine for the whole time. Last night, I set it down to charge on the (carpeted) floor. I say carpeted because I once left a computer on the floor for too long, and the motherboard blew up, but that was a bit different. My cousin wanted to use my computer this morning, and when she opened it up, she said it was glitching. I looked myself, and there were horizontal black and white bars on the screen, with a vertical grey bar that moves when you move the mousepad. In the bottom right corner there is a sort of ink-blotty spot, which makes me nervous that I broke the LCD screen. Does anyone know what happened?

Hey there! @A_Name1,

Were there any physical damages to the PC?

Have you tried checking with an external monitor does the issue persist?
