Product: HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d4000 (4C803AV)

I recently bough a new HP laptop (4x755PA#ABG) which does not have a slot for reading CD or DVD.

What can I do?

Also is there a phone number I can use to live speak to some instead of that awful virtual agent system.

Hi:

 

According to the service manual for that model series, DVD drives were not offered as an option.

 

HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d4000 Manuals | HP® Customer Support

 

You can buy a USB DVD RW drive and use that to play or burn DVD's.

 

That's what I use for my notebooks that didn't come with DVD drives.
