Pavilion dm1
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Microsoft won' t do a download of Win 7 Premium because it's from HP. HP doesn't show anything that I can figure out.

So how does someone who bought something from HP and Microsoft get a crummy copy of what they bought???

This site claims to have genuine, unadulterated W7 ISO files for download.

https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-iso-download-tool

Click on the link labeled Windows ISO Downloader.exe

You can use either the:

Win 7 Home Premium/Pro (as applicable) SP1 or the (Retail version, but the OEM key on your PC's case will work with it)

Win 7 Home Premium/Pro (as applicable) SP1 COEM (This version would be for what HP would have used--System Builder)

You're very welcome.

1.  Please post the full model number or product number of your notebook.

The product number can be found on the same sticker as the serial number.

2.  Please post the hardware ID's for the devices that need drivers.  The wireless card when missing a driver is labeled as a Network Controller, for example.

Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device...
