Hi @Suraj2611
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are facing an issue with your computer, I am glad to assist you today.
To be able to assist you better please let me know the Operating System you tryiung to install on your computer.
Try these steos in the meantime.
If your computer freezes when you select boot priority in BIOS, you can try these troubleshooting steps:
- Check your installation media: Make sure your installation media is bootable, not damaged, and all connections are secure.
- Check for prompts: Some systems may require you to press a key to confirm booting from an external device.
- Troubleshoot BIOS errors: Look for BIOS error messages on your monitor and try to troubleshoot the cause.
- Disconnect USB devices and remove discs: Remove any USB storage devices and optical drive discs.
- Clear the CMOS: Try clearing the CMOS.
- Test your power supply: Test your computer's power supply.
- Reseat components: Reseat all components inside your computer.
- Run a System Restore: A System Restore can return important files, device drivers, and registry parts to their last working state.
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
