Hi,
I tried installing win7 64bit using my USB, but I'm unable to do so. Boot legacy was enable and I had disabled secure boot as well. Still nothing.
Somebody please help!

Microsoft do not support Windows 7 or 8.1 on anything after 6th generation Intel Core and go out of their way to block the use of versions of Windows prior to Windows 10 on newer systems. Your system is 8th generation Intel Core, so the only supported version of Windows is Windows 10. Even if you do somehow persuade Windows 7 to boot, you may well struggle to find drivers for key elements of the hardware.
I strongly recommend leaving this system on Windows 10.

Just to clarify, does that mean i can install Windows 7 on my Intel Core i3 6 gen laptop and not in the 8th gen?
@Yes. 6th generation is the last generation where Windows 7 is supported. However, as @kflash08 notes, we are only just over two years from the end of extended support (and therefore publicly available security updates) for Windows 7, which suggests caution should be exercised over any new Windows 7 installation.
A further issue is that Microsoft stopped selling retail and OEM licences for Windows 7 some years ago. There are still some circumstances where downgrade rights permit installation of Windows 7, but generally speaking first time installations of Windows 7 on systems that are not currently running it are not possible unless you have a currently unused retail licence for the edition of Windows 7 you wish to use.
Windows 7 was a great operating system, but my belief is that it is now time to move on. Windows 10 is far from perfect, but it has matured considerably since initial release.
