Hello!
I recently read that Intel recognized a security issue in millions of CPUs sold. The embedded SO in many CPU and related chips can be potentally overtaken by outside connections.
There is a software tool that Intel provided that could advise if a CPU can be involved in this issue or not.
I will try it, of course, but I'm asking if you're working to a firmware update to solve this.
Thank you.
Cheers!

FYI HP support picked up on my thread from yesterday and escallated. I had already spoken to the HP support line and confirmed nothing is available. I also checked with Intel and they have no generic ME update. Hp is working the problem. They released updates for the affected Prolient servers 11/20. Like Lenovo and Dell HP has a lot of affected machines. So regression testing will take time. I expect Business class devices to get first crack. So far nothing for the Probooks has appeared in the catalog that I can see. Best of luck cheers
