The Security Client Manager will not let me make changes to HP Drive Encription.  It does not even show as an option in the menu.  I cannot unencrypt drive to install a windows 10 update.  Of course I have tried to uninstall it but HP drive encryption is blocking HP Client security manager.

I have updated the program and bios, and then tried to uninstall.  I will not do it.

Hello @indyfox

Thank you for posting in the HP Support forum.

Did you remember encrypting the hard disk initially with HP DE ?

Did you check in Home , under DATA ?

Would you please take some screenshots and post them back here showing HP Drive Encryption installed in Control Panel -> Programs and features

and HP DE missing in the HP Client Security Manager ?

Just to be 100% clear, would you elaborate on how you tried to update the program (you meant HP DE and/or HP Client Security Manager)  ?
