HP 15-g036cy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In my Device Manager there are two identical processors listed, should one be deleted?  Is one from when I had Windows 8 and then another for when I got the free upgrade to Windows 10?

Hi:

That is normal.

Your notebook has a dual core processor, so each core is being listed as a separate processor.

Some are listed 4 times (dual core processor with hyperthreading, or quad core processor, non-hyperthreading) and some are listed 8 times (Quad core processor with hypertheading).
