Hey guys,
I've been facing a problem with my 5 years old HP for a while now.
- Battery's life is over (it's 100% used and I obviously need to change it. PC turns off if not on charger)
- Fan is loud ( I hear it all the time ; sometimes, it sounds like a drone is taking off and sometimes it's a tiny little more discreet)
- It is hot (especially on the bottom of the screen, but not enough to be really overheating and shutting down)
- It is slow (it lags and it bugs and takes hours to start up)
- It goes on sleep mode and doesn't wake up
- My Task Manager indicades 100% usage for my HDD but a few seconds later, the usage drops to almost 0, Memory and CPU also go from >50% to <10% in a few seconds
- Plenty of free space in my C: Drive, and 1 GB free space left on my D : Drive
I'd like to know what might be the problem so I can take the right measures to fix my PC correctly and from the first time. Will changing the battery solve all those issues or is there something else ?
Thank you,
M.
