My G7-2233CL came with Win8, which I upgraded to Win10. It is quite slow with 10, however, and I bought a copy of Win7 with SP1 to run. It installed without problems, but will not recognize my LAN controller, Wi-Fi adapter, or USB drive. It will recognize and load files from the CD-DVD drive, as well as the touchpad, keyboard and screen, so if I can download the proper drivers then I could use device manager to load them from that drive. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi:
First install the amd chipset drivers and restart the PC. You want the 1st file listed on the webpage.
That will install the smbus and usb controllers.
http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop/legacy?product=legacy4&os=Windows%207%20-%2064
Wireless:
This package provides the driver to support the Atheros Wireless LAN adapter in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp57001-57500/sp57138.exe
Then for the rest of the drivers and software, you can use the ones from the g7z-2100 on your model, except the BIOS and firmware files.

Paul, thanks for the prompt reply. The USB and Wi-Fi are acting properly, and I installed the audio, graphics, and touchpaad manager from the other page. There is one device left with the yellow triangle on device manager. It is called PCI device, and Win7 cannot find a driver online for it. How can I determenine what this device is? I have not installed any hardware other than what came with the laptop. Thanks again.

You're very welcome.
That would be the Realtek card reader that needs the driver, and the one from the g7z-2100 support page should work just fine.
This package contains the driver that enables the Realtek Card Reader in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The card reader enables users to read from or write to supported removable storage cards, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players, and cellular phones.
