HP Notebook 15-da1083nt
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently bought a new SSD (WD Blue SN570). I'm trying to install Windows 10 but the SSD doesn't show up on installation screen.

Hi:

I can't think of any reason offhand why Windows can't 'see' the WD Blue NVMe SSD you installed.

NVMe SSD's are supported, and PC's with the Intel 8th gen core processors should not need any storage controller drivers beyond what W10 contains in the installation files to install.

Your PC should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool, which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

You will need to have access to another PC running W7 64 bit or newer since your PC is not working.

Here is a link for how to use that utility... You will also need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media.
