Pavilion Dv6t Cto
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an old Pavilion dv6t CTO, LF374AAR . with intel 3000 & AMD 6770m switchable graphic cards.

I know that HP doesnt support it anymore, but how I can install the switchable cards driver ?

Intel provide 3000 driver: http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Intel+hd+3000+windows+10

AMD provide 6770m driver: https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/amd-radeon-hd/amd-radeon-hd-6000m-series/amd-radeon-hd-6770m

Can I upgrade to 10 ?.

because this situation that my laptop is still working, but HP is too lazy (since 2015) is just a bit strange.

How can we pressure HP for provide the drivers ?

Someone know how can I Upgrade ?

maybe unofficially ?

Thanks !

@LiorAsis

Most likely -- NOT -- because of the switchable graphics, for which you need HP drivers and HP does not have them for your model PC and Win10.

That said, there are others here that have more access to drivers and MIGHT be able to point you to other drivers that would work with your PC and Win10.

If I will install the win7 old HP driver first and then install the new Intel 3000  + AMD 6770m drivers it won't work ?.

This really strange, I get it that the computer is now old, but while 2015 it was only 4 years old.

And one can see that Intel, Microsoft and AMD release drivers for it.

So why not take the small step for paying customers even if only for the sake of propriety.

I would love to ear more suggestions ..

even Unofficial ..

Thanks !
