Product: Pavilion Gaming 16
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just purchased a Pavilion and Windows 10 ( DVD). How do I install it? My Pavilion enters in Freedos.

I have a USB DVD driver available for the Windows 10 DVD.

I downloaded the Media Creation tool on a flash drive.

F10 and F12 dont seem to work.

Pretty amazing this is so complicated.

Hi:

 

If you used the media creation tool to create a bootable USB drive, then you need to have the USB flash drive in a USB port.

 

Turn on or restart the PC.

 

Immediately start pressing/tapping the ESC key to get the menu of options.

 

Select the F9 boot options menu and from that, select the USB flash drive with W10 on it and press the Enter key.

 

The PC should now boot from the USB flash drive and the W10 installation should begin.
