Hi, I'm trying to install Linux Ubuntu on my Windows 11 HP Elitebook 830 G8, it is equipped with HP Wolf Security. I have already created the USB drive bootable media using Rufus and following Linux official guide.
When I press the F9 key at bootup, and enter the Boot menu, I have two-options:
1. UEFI - Windows Boot Manager
2. Boot from file
When I press 1, I boot into a Windows "Automatic Repair" screen. So I figured 2 would work for me, the next screen shows the USB drive labeled as UBUNTU 20_0, PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x14,0x0)/HD(1,MBR,0x29E182F8,0x800,) and there are 2 other rows below which are PciRoot.... etc... etc...
However, it just opens a Folder directory of what I believe to be the Linux Ubuntu .ISO file; I moved around some of the directories and hit enter and was brought back to the boot manager.
How can I get this installed?
