I want to install Windows 7 on my HP Pavilion Notebook Model 15-cc050wn which comes with Windows 10 by default. Some software I use as a professional can not be installed on Windows 10 so I need to install Windows 7 Ultimate. I look for your help to find the drivers for mentioned model for Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit OS.
I've tried a few of the notebook models with no luck... since the 15 series was never made to be compatible with windows 7, the only thing that works is the cd/dvd drive, so I've got to use another computer to burn trial and error drivers to a cd and test my luck out on the pavilion 15. I've chewed through nice stack of cd's so far 🙂
Please send me the links to download the chipset drivers, Network adapters, Wifi/Bluetooth Drivers, usb drivers and etc., that could be compatible enough to restore some/most of the functionality of the laptop.
Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi:
Unfortunately, that won't be possible to get your notebook running good on W7.
Intel did not develop any W7 drivers for the USB 3.1 ports.
Here are some of the drivers you need...
Chipset. Download, unzip and run the setup application. Install and restart the PC.
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28182/Chipset-INF-Utility?product=1145
Graphics: See if Bruce BTS's mod works for your model...
Wifi:
Bluetooth:
Ethernet: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the W7 driver at the link below.
SD card reader: Download, unzip and run the setup application from the 1st file listed at the link below...
This driver may work for the thermal dynamic system:
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75506.exe
That is the best that I can do for you.

Paul_Tikkanen, I hold you personally responsible for making my computer awesome again!!! Thanks a ton buddy. That mod by Bruce worked like a charm. I had no problem finding a USB 3.0 from Intel that worked on my win 7 system (not as good as 3.1, but that's small potatoes). Seriously thank you so much for all of your efforts, you've saved me a ton of time, effort, writable CD's. I really appreciate it.
