Hi there,
I am having issues detecting my new SSD drive when installing Windows 11 to my Omen (17t-ck000). Evidently it's common with 11th Gen Intel PCs like mine so I'm following this guide: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-15-f2000-laptop-pc-series/35900344/model/35900346/document/c....
The issue is, when I get to the step that prompts me "Under Driver-Storage, download the Intel RST driver (RAID) driver to your desktop," I run into an issue. Under Driver-Storage (hyperlinked for reference), I can only download a .exe file for the driver (sp134240.exe). When I reboot the Windows 11 installation media on my USB drive, I am unable to detect the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver since it's just a .exe. The aforementioned guide makes it seem as though I should have downloaded a .zip that I would extract into a folder onto the same USB drive that I'm using to try and install Windows 11. I am following the steps verbatim, so I'm unsure why this isn't working...
Any and all help would be immensely appreciated as I'm unsure what to do. Last thing, the BIOS detects my newly installed SSD; so I just need help getting the appropriate drivers onto my USB so that the installation process can properly detect it to then install Windows 11 onto it.
Thanks for reading!

There are 2 possible reasons why you're facing this problem:
1. You have assigned the same letters to two different drives so you can change the letters to fix this issue.
2. Your laptop is having a disk driver issue. In such a case, you should try updating your drivers.
