Im trying to install windows 10 from scratch using installation media on a 15-da0053wm. The destination drive is an intel optane memory m10 model. The drive does not show up during installation. Ive grabbed the rst drivers from intels site for 8th and 9th gen chipsets. The drivers that show up and install still wont allow the drive to detect. The drive detects on another computer so I know its good. Anyone know what the proper driver is?

Hi:
You don't install Windows on the Optane drive.
You install it on the 1 TB 2.5" hard drive and the Optane memory accelerates the drive.

Another thing you can do would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

See if the storage drivers I zipped up and attached below work for you...
