Hello I have a problem,

I tried to reboot my laptop using a usb and when I chose the partitions they told me I can't install it on that partition because it might not be activated and then they asked me to check on the bios menu the controller of that disk. When I searched I found out to that I need access to advanced bios menu which is completely locked.

Please help me out I need my laptop working as soon as possible. Thank you.

Hi@Yahya011, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I understand that you are unable to log in since the Login Box does not show up.

I'd like to help.

I see that you have already attempted a System Restore which failed.

I appreciate you attempting these crucial troubleshooting steps.

Let's try restarting the Notebook in Safe Mode.

- Shut Down the Notebook. Upon restarting keep tapping the F11 key every one sec

- On the Choose an option screen, tap or click Troubleshoot.

- Tap or click Startup Settings. If you don't see Startup Settings, tap or click Advanced options, and then tap or click Startup Settings.

- Tap or click Restart, and then wait while your computer restarts.

- On the Startup Settings screen, choose Safe Mode with Command Prompt and restart.

- Copy and paste the below command and press Enter.

                net user administrator /active: yes

- Close the Command Prompt.

- Try to login through Built-in Administrator and create a New User Account.

- Then restart your Notebook and try logging into the new Account

You can refer to this Microsoft Forum Link

Still, if its an issue perform  HP Cloud Recovery Tool

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
