HP Spectre x360 - 13-aw0500na
Microsoft Windows 11

I suspect I know the answer, but just need to seek advice/confirmation please.

My spectre x360 notebook originally came with Intel Optane - factory installed.

I upgraded the Win10 O/S to Win11, using Windows Media Creation tool, and completed a clean install. (USB stick\boot)

The installation went well, but I have noticed that the Intel Optane is not recognised or even mentioned.

When starting the Intel Optane and Storage Management App, a message says "Your System is not Intel Memory Ready" and also "There are no valid disk pairs in your system" .

Is this because I should have installed or loaded Optane drivers during the Windows installation prior to selecting the partition to install on? Or perhaps I should have changed a setting in the BIOS first?

I presume I can't rectify this after the installation, and that it needs to be reinstalled again.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Just to bring this thread to a close.

I managed to fix the issue by installing the Intel RST drivers and after a couple of restarts, Optane is now up and running again.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if this link from HP is of help to you.

The last two sections may be the most beneficial.
